2009 Gajaraja Sangamam is on February 12 th
Gajaraja Sangamam , Anayoottu & Kudamattam.
One of the famous festivals in central Travancore Elamgulam Sree
Dharmasastha Temple festival was from 22nd January 2008 to 28th January 2008.
As usual apart from traditional sermonizes in the temple, various cultural programme also were performed by famous artists. The main attraction of the festival was Gajarajasangamam , Anayoottu. and kudamattam.17 Elephants were participated in the Gajaraja Sangamam and Anayoottu. Erattupetta Ayyappan,Thiruvanikavu Rajagopal,Madhurapuram Kannan,Guruvayoor
Nandan,Guruvayoor Kesavan Kutty,Thottuchalil Bolenath,Puthupallil Bhramadattan,Olari Kalidasan,Plathottam Kannan,Puthupallil
Prasad,Thiruvegappuram Kannan,Chirackattu Adisankaran,Kalakuttan Kannan,Channanikadu Vishnu were main attaction in the Gajaraja
Sangamam.
Anayoottu (feeding the elephants ) was held during the Gajaraja
Sangamam.
Mangalam Kunnu Ayyappan was the main elephant in the arattu .Kudamattam
was another colourfull event which attaracted more viewers to the festival.
